I am a PostDoc at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
Brief academic vita:
-
Sept 2025 - present:
FSR Incoming PostDoctoral Fellowship (with Marino Gran).
Research Institute in Mathematics and Physics, Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
Project: “CatCoD - Categorical Commutators and Dualities”. -
Sept 2023 - Aug 2025:
Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual PostDoctoral Fellowship (with Achim Jung).
School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham, UK.
Project: “DCPOS - Dualities via ComPactness, Openness and their Symmetry”. -
Dec 2020 - Aug 2023:
PostDoc (with Luca Spada).
Department of Mathematics, University of Salerno, Italy.
Project: “Łukasiewicz logic, MV-algebras and duality”. -
Oct 2017 - Apr 2021:
PhD in Mathematics (with Vincenzo Marra).
University of Milan, Italy.
PhD thesis: “On the axiomatisability of the dual of compact ordered spaces”.
Interests:
- mathematical logic,
- universal algebra,
- Stone-type dualities,
- ordered algebras (in particular: MV-algebras, lattice-ordered groups, vector lattices).
I am interested in the connections between logic, algebra, order and topology that emerged starting with M. H. Stone’s celebrated representation theorem for Boolean algebras in 1936. The main topics of my research are Stone-like dualities and their applications, with a particular focus on MV-algebras and lattice-ordered groups.
