Marco Abbadini

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium.

My research lies at the interface of logic, algebra, order and topology, with a focus on Stone-like dualities and their applications to algebraic logic, MV-algebras, lattice-ordered groups, and related ordered structures.

Awards:

• Winner of one of the two Paolo Gentilini Prizes (2026), awarded by the Italian Association for Logic and its Applications to a young researcher in recognition of distinguished contributions to mathematical logic.
• Winner of the Ada Lettieri Prize (2025), awarded by the Italian Association for Logic and its Applications for the paper “Stone-Gelfand duality for metrically complete lattice-ordered groups”.
• Special mention for the Franco Montagna Prize (2023), awarded by the Italian Association for Logic and its Applications and the Italian Mathematical Union for PhD theses in mathematical logic and its applications.
